This Saturday is the 11th edition of the Geek Bowl, the national competition tied to the Geeks Who Drink pub quiz franchise. I was able to take part in four of the past five Bowls (with my teams finishing between the 85th and 95th percentiles each time), but I'm not able to make the trek to Seattle this year, unfortunately.
Though Austin routinely tops the weekly national rankings, no team from my fair city has ever won Geek Bowl. Here's hoping that the trophy comes to the Random Knowledge Capital Of The World this year!
