This Saturday is the 40th annual iteration of Austin's celebration of wordplay, the O. Henry Museum Pun-Off World Championships.
I've attended this event many times and have become friends with the folks who organize it, but I haven't yet mustard the confidence to participate. I mayo may not do so in future years. You should consider being a contestant if you have a rye sense of humor, especially if you're a ham and cheesy puns are your thing.
