In the mid-'80s you could find me engaged in a period-appropriate activity: playing racquetball at Court King, a health club located a couple of miles down Morrison Road from my house. I loved their logo, using the rotational symmetry of a face card to depict a royal Z-serve.
It was pretty great- there were six courts, a weight room, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a sauna, and an Omega Race arcade game. When I was away at college I heard Court King had burned down. Bummer.
